Peppermint oil is one of my favourites to refresh the mind and lift the heart. We have 3 brains in the body, Gut, Heart and Cranial, these are all interrelated and impact on the function and health of the others. Peppermint Oil connects with out Heart Brain, it has an invigorating scent that will lift and balance the Heart Brain, rejuvenating body, mind and soul. Peppermint will alleviate your fears and deliver you from emotional trials. It creates space in heart and mind for happiness and lightheartedness. Peppermint will lift you out of the emotional tribulations that have weighed you down, it will lift you up to coast through the issue with more lightness and optimism. For those who are experiencing depression or discouragement peppermint will lighten your load and guide you into bringing more joy into your heart, mind and life.
how to use:
Topical Paste: You can use the oil topically for all of the above. I don't always use a carrier oil but when I do I use organic coconut oil, you can also use jojoba, olive, avocado or a nut oil. Get a tablespoon of coconut oil and mix between 1 to 5 drops of Peppermint. Depending on your sensitivity you may need more or less essential oil / coconut oil. Test the blend on the back of your hand to see how your skin responds before putting in more Peppermint Oil drops, or on any sensitive areas.
Diffuse: You can use the oil in a diffuser to help lift the heart and refresh the heart mind and alleviate the Health Ailments listed. Use 1 - 3 drops.
quick he▽ling tricks + tips:
Breath Freshener: Place 1 drop or a beadlette on the tongue to freshen breath and invigorate the mind.
Depression / Overwhelm / Pessimism: use the Topical Paste on chest and upper back (over the heart chakra), on the temples. Place 1 - 2 drops in the palm of your hand, rub the hands together and then cup over the nose and breathe in.
Headaches / Migraine:
Use either straight Peppermint oil or in topical paste and rub on the temples, nape of neck and heart.
Pace 1-2 drops in palm of hands and rubbed together cup over the nose and breathe in drawing breath to the head and then to the heart. Place 1-3 drops in diffuser.
Place feet in bucket of ice cold water with 3 drops of Peppermint Oil, sit with feet in the bucket for 5-10mins.
Allergies / Hayfever:
Make Topical Paste with Peppermint Oil + Lavender Oil + Lemon Oil rub on temples, nape of neck and inner wrist.
Make Topical Paste Peppermint Oil + Tea Tree Oil and rub along sinuses. Your sinuses run along the base of the cheek bone, starting at the nose and moving toward the ears, you can press firmly to rub the oils in and to relieve sinus pressure.
Herpes Viruses: Use Topical Paste on the effected areas + Tea Tree Oil for antibiotic + Lavender Oil for soothing.
